Basic NavigationSelect a template in the template list to display it. Select the calculator icon in the top bar of the template list or template to display the calculator.
Entering NumbersEach item in brackets represents a button:
- Decimal: [ 4 ] [ . ] [ 5 ]
- Feet-Inch: [ 3 ] [ ft ] [ 4 ] [ & ] [ 1 ] [ / ] [ 2 ] [ in ]
- Feet: [ 3 ] [ ft ]
- Inches: [ 3 ] [ in ]
- Area: [ 3 ] [ ftÂ² ] in a template or [ 3 ] [ ft ] [ ftÂ² ] in the calculator
- Volume: [ 3 ] [ ftÂ³ ] in a template or [ 3 ] [ ft ] [ ftÂ³ ] in the calculator
Each row consists of a status button, variable and value, from left to right. The status button indicates whether the value is known (=) or unknown (?) while variables are names for identifying values. Rows with an underlined portion after the equals sign can be modified.
Select a row to display an editor. When completed, select the same row, the (...) status button or another row to finish editing. Calculations will happen automatically or the status button will indicate which rows are unknown (?). Tapping the status button will calculate that row.

Using the CalculatorDEWALT Mobile Pro includes a standard calculator that follows order of operations rules (for instance, multiplication and division is handled before addition and subtraction). To calculate:
[ 3 ] [ + ] [ 4 ] [ Ã— ] [ 7 ] [ = ] displays 31
To change the order of operations use parentheses:
[ ( ] [ 3 ] [ + ] [ 4 ] [ ) ] [ Ã— ] [ 7 ] [ = ] displays 49
For functions that require only a single number enter the number then the function:
[ 5 ] [ 1/x ] [ = ] displays 0.2
To convert units, enter the length, area or volume then tap the appropriate unit conversion button:
[ 3 ] [ ft ] [ in ] displays 36in
